Bright cool hues are prone to fading but a blue or violet conditioner can help maintain the tint at home. Ash blonde hair accentuated with cola-hued roots are as fun and sparkling as a root beer float. A three-barrel curling iron molds strands into gentle undulations, which soften the transition between the hues.
Well, dying your hair is never really healthy, although it can sustain some color without being seriously damaged or anything like that. I guess the answer really depends on how often you've dyed your hair going into the ash blonde layer. A level 20 peroxide used for the appropriate amount of time will lift your hair color 2 shades.

When colouring our hair, shades of colours are used similar to paints. We have primary shades namely red, blue and green which combine to form secondary and tertiary shades such as copper, red, magenta, mahogany etc. Complementary colours are however made up of contrasting colours and are often used to neutralize hair colour.
If grey coverage is what you are concerned about, we recommend using a product like L’Oreal Paris’s Excellence Crème instead. The color in this dye does fade more rapidly than some of its competitors. This means that you will have to perform color touch-ups more frequently. If you are interested in a blonde dye that is virtually fade-free, we suggest L’Oreal Paris’s Superior Preference Hair Color.

Bleach the hair again to get to a lighter base level, and then tone the hair to the desired shade. And toner that realistically will work with the end base color. Do not assume you'll reach a level 10 platinum on one sitting, and buy Wella T14 to tone it because you will likely need at least a couple of bleaching sessions. Suggested tools for dyeing your hair include a plastic mixing bowl for your color and developer, a color brush, gloves, and maybe a protective cape for your clothing.
If you decide that you're not happy with the level of cool tones in your hair, wash it! Now rinse your hair with water and apply the mixture to your hair like shampoo. Use an applicator brush to apply the dyed conditioner in sections, just like you did when applying regular color.
Toning Blonde Hair | From Cool To Warm Toned
If you don't want to cover your green hair with darker hair color, you will need to neutralize the visible green pigments. You will need a toner or a warm blonde box dye with an intensity similar to your current hair color. As with all hair coloring processes, there is a risk that dyeing your hair blonde will damage your hair. This is due to the lightening and coloring process that strips hair of its color, drying it out and weakening the strand. Hair that has been damaged by a bleaching or coloring process tends to take several months to become healthy-looking again.
They tend to appear a little darker than what is shown on the box after the coloring process is completed. It is also not the best for use with sensitive skin since the chemicals in this dye are slightly harsher than its competitors. Let the conditioner and dye sit on your hair for 30 minutes, or until you like the ashy color of your hair.

This is not the best product for grey hair coverage as the formula is not specifically designed to cover up harder to dye grey hairs.
This type of showerhead helps filter out hard water, which can make your hair look warm instead of having the cool, ashy tones that you want. Bleaching your hair can do a number on your strands and professionals are trained to work with bleach safely. Also, if you’re starting with darker hair, it could require multiple bleaching sessions to achieve your desired hue. It will just take a bit more time and effort, so it’s usually best to leave bleaching in the hands of a pro. So while purple shampoo is great for blondes and probably part of your weekly hair care regime, if you have to fix green hair you'll need something else.
Use an applicator brush to apply the color to the ends of your hair first. Put your hair up in a plastic shower cap once you're finished. This can be done right after you've dried your hair from the bleach, or you can wait a couple of days to prevent damage to your hair. Use 20 Vol, 1 part toner to 2 parts developer for all our toners, and don't forget to really saturate the hair fully.
I have gold/red tones to my dark blonde hair and the Nice n Easy gets rid of them completely. It also really conditions my hair better than it was before. It is a very consisent color, and always comes out the same on me, unlike some other brands I have tried. It is a believable ash, too, not too gray or drab-looking. The process of changing your hair color will be best managed at the salon than at home even though you can buy cheap drugstore blonde hair dyes.
Then I added 3.75 ml of Olaplex #1 (you'll find detailed instructions on dosage in the Olaplex box), and mixed it all together. Level 20 only lifts 2 shades but I leave it in for double the time so I get 4 levels of lift with half the damage. While my hair is bleaching I put a processing cap over it to help it process more efficiently. After 1 hour I remove the cap and gently shower all the bleach out of my hair and let it air dry. Tone your hair using toner or purple shampoo, if desired. Mixing purple hair dye with conditioner isn't the only way to tone your hair. You can use an ammonia-based toner mixed with a level 20 developer.
